This page is the single, complete statement of when mccQbank refunds money. If anything you read elsewhere — an email, an ad, an older page — disagrees with this page, this page is correct. Please read it before you buy. If something is unclear, email marketing@mccqbank.com and ask first.
The short version
- Question bank and OSCE-R plans: 7 days to change your mind, if you have answered fewer than 50 questions. Full refund, no reason needed.
- Anything including the Crash Course: not refundable. The material is downloadable, so the sale is final from the moment you have access.
- Bundle plans carry a pass guarantee — conditions in section 3, and they are strict.
- Nothing auto-renews. Your plan ends and no further payment is taken, ever.
1. Change-of-mind refund — question bank and OSCE-R plans
If you bought a question bank plan, an OSCE-R plan, the Public Health, Ethics & Epidemiology module or the MCCQE Assessment, you can cancel and get a full refund of what you actually paid, with no reason given, provided both of the following are true when you ask:
- it is within 7 days of your purchase, and
- you have answered fewer than 50 questions.
Whichever limit you reach first is the one that ends the window. We check the question count in our system; it is recorded automatically and we can see it in seconds.
Fifty questions is roughly two study sessions. It is enough to know whether the style, the explanations and the level suit you, which is the only thing this window is for.
2. Crash Course purchases are final
The Crash Course, and any bundle that includes it, is not refundable once your account has access.
We are being direct about the reason: the Crash Course is downloadable teaching material. Unlike questions delivered inside the app, once it has been downloaded it cannot be returned, and we have no way to un-give it. So the sale is final.
If you are not sure the Crash Course is right for you, do not buy it yet. Start the free trial, use the question bank, email us your questions, or book the free 15-minute call and ask a physician directly. We would far rather spend fifteen minutes with you beforehand than take money you regret spending.
3. The 100% Money-Back Pass Guarantee
This applies to our Bundle plans — Exam Ready, Match Ready and Residency Ready.
If you prepare with mccQbank to the standard below, sit your exam, and do not pass, we refund everything you paid and give you a free one-hour mentorship session with one of our physicians to plan your next attempt.
The guarantee is that our material works if you actually work through it. So the conditions are strict, and all of them must be met before you sit the exam:
- You have completed at least 90% of the questions in your plan.
- Your overall score is at least 70% across the questions you have completed. If you are not scoring at that level, you are not ready, and we would rather tell you that than take the exam fee with you.
- Your exam falls within your subscription period.
- You send us your official MCC Statement of Results within 60 days of results being released.
Both numbers are visible to you in the app as you go, on your progress and analytics screens. Nothing is hidden and nothing is judged after the fact — you can see exactly where you stand at any point.

4. Outside those windows
Apart from sections 1 and 3, purchases are not refundable.
But if something has genuinely happened — illness, a deferred exam, a family emergency — write to us. We would rather extend your subscription than have you lose what you paid for. One extension of up to 90 days, free, per customer. Ask.
5. What you get back, and when
We refund the amount you actually paid, including tax. If you used a promotional or student code, that means the discounted amount you were charged, not the list price.
We approve or decline within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Free trial
The free trial costs nothing and takes no payment method. When it ends, nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel. There is no refund question because there is never a charge.
7. Mentorship and mock NAC OSCE sessions
Booked and paid through Calendly, and handled differently, because a physician sets aside the time:
- More than 24 hours before: reschedule or cancel for a full refund, using the link in your booking confirmation.
- Less than 24 hours before, or a no-show: the fee is not refunded. You can rebook at the normal price.
- If we move or cancel it, you choose — a new time or a full refund.
The free 15-minute introductory call can be cancelled at any time at no cost.
8. Renewals
mccQbank plans do not auto-renew. When your period ends, access ends and no further payment is taken. There is no recurring billing to cancel and nothing to remember to stop.
9. Duplicate charges and billing errors
Charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged for something you did not buy? Tell us and we refund it in full. No window applies — a billing error is our mistake, not a change of mind.
10. How to ask
Email marketing@mccqbank.com from the address on your account, saying which plan you bought, roughly when, and which section above you are asking under. You do not need to justify yourself under section 1, and we will not use the conversation to talk you out of it.
11. Your rights under Canadian law
mccQbank operates from London, Ontario. Nothing on this page removes any right you have under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or any other consumer protection law that applies to you. Where the law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, the law wins.
Ontario law also gives consumers a right to cancel an internet agreement in certain circumstances, including where a supplier failed to disclose the required information before the purchase or failed to deliver a copy of the agreement. This policy is shown to you before you buy and a copy is sent with your purchase confirmation, so that you have it.
12. Changes
If we change this policy, the version that applies to you is the one published on the day you purchased. That is why the effective date is at the top of this page.
